Helix AI Engineer, Agentic Systems

Figure AI is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to develop agentic systems for their humanoid robots. This role focuses on building multimodal reasoning systems that can perceive, reason, and act autonomously in real-world environments for extended periods. You will design and implement agent architectures, memory systems, and evaluation frameworks to enable robots to perform complex, multi-step tasks reliably.

• Design, train, and deploy autonomous multimodal agents
• Build agents that reason from raw sensory inputs to actions
• Implement episodic memory systems for long-horizon reasoning
• Develop planning, reasoning, and tool-use mechanisms
• Design evaluation harnesses, benchmarks, and metrics
• Apply reinforcement learning and post-training techniques
