Research Scientist - Artificial Intelligence

GE Vernova Advanced Research is seeking a Research Scientist to develop and apply innovative AI and machine learning technologies for the energy sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, create intellectual property, and publish research to drive breakthrough innovation in areas like power generation and renewable energy.

• Design, develop, and apply AI technologies including ML, deep learning, and foundation models
• Tackle complex challenges in power generation, renewable energy, electric grids, robotics, and manufacturing
• Collaborate with business units and external partners in academia and government
• Create intellectual property and publish research work
• Demonstrated ability to write Python code
• Familiarity with AI, ML, and GenAI packages and frameworks
