Senior Platform Engineer - ML Ops

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer specializing in ML Ops to join their Patient Care Systems team in Galway, Ireland. You will be instrumental in developing and operating the software ecosystem for implantable cardiac devices, focusing on MLOps capabilities to enhance software delivery and developer productivity. This role involves designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle.

• Design, implement, and operate MLOps capabilities for ML model lifecycle
• Build reusable services, automation, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
• Improve platform reliability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness
• Support machine learning development, training, deployment, and monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ML engineers and data scientists
• Coach and provide technical guidance to other engineers
