Senior, Data Scientist

As a Senior Data Scientist at Walmart, you will develop and deploy data-driven solutions to support strategic business objectives, focusing on fraud detection. You'll work with massive datasets, build scalable models using advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and drive measurable impact.

• Design, build, and implement predictive models for high-dimensional, real-time datasets
• Own fraud/abuse risks and partner with product teams, sharing insights and recommendations
• Utilize ML/AI, deep learning, and data mining for anomaly detection (e.g., bot detection)
• Build data visualizations and dashboards for monitoring and sharing business insights
• Engage in research and patent filings for new fraud issues and tools
• Proficient in Python for machine learning and data mining packages
