Staff Research Scientist

Abbott is seeking a Staff Research Scientist to lead verification and validation studies for innovative NGS-based multi-cancer early detection solutions. This role involves designing and executing experiments, investigating new technologies, and analyzing complex data to improve clinical test access, quality, and performance for patients.

• Lead verification and validation studies for NGS-based multi-cancer early detection solutions
• Design and execute NGS experiments, developing new methods
• Investigate feasibility of applying scientific principles to new technologies
• Analyze and interpret complex experimental data
• Prepare technical procedures, protocols, and reports
• Contribute to intellectual property portfolio
