Applied Science - Research Engineer (Robotics)

Mistral AI is looking for talented Applied Scientists and Research Engineers to join our robotics team. You will be responsible for designing, training, and deploying cutting-edge robotics models, including VLMs and VLAs, for navigation and manipulation tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact AI solutions across various industries, collaborating closely with science, engineering, and product teams.

• Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art robotics models (VLM, VLA)
• Develop and curate datasets for perception, navigation, and manipulation
• Build tools and frameworks for data generation, training, and evaluation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex AI use cases
• Expertise in PyTorch or JAX and Python
• Experience with Vision Language Models and robotics simulation tools
