Research Engineer (ML)

Gladstone Institutes is seeking an ML Research Engineer to join the Finkbeiner Lab, applying AI/ML to biomedical research. You will collaborate with scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models for disease research, accelerate computational efforts, and contribute to an intelligent live-cell imaging platform.

• Deploy Computer Vision and RL Pipelines for cellular imaging data
• Train and fine-tune multimodal models for pathology and segmentation
• Accelerate computational research by streamlining AI/ML workflows
• Partner with collaborators on grant initiatives and publications
• Translate complex ML concepts for non-technical team members
• Requires BS/BA with 4+ years or MS with 2+ years of experience
