Research Technologist

The Plant Science-Weed and Applied Plant Ecology Department at Penn State is seeking a Research Technologist to assist with field, greenhouse, and lab experiments. This role involves managing research experiments, processing samples, collecting data, and maintaining inventory. The position offers an opportunity for annual renewal and potential graduate studies.

• Assist with day-to-day operations of field, greenhouse, and lab experiments
• Manage implementation and maintenance of research experiments
• Organize and process samples, and assist with data collection
• Manage inventory of research supplies and assist with lab organization
• Requires previous experience in field/greenhouse experiments within plant sciences
• BS degree in agronomy, weed science, soil science, forestry, or equivalent experience preferred
