Senior Applied AI/ML Scientist - Compass

Lead the science and technical direction for Faire's AI-powered retailer assistant, Compass. You will drive agent quality through data, evaluation, and modeling, while shipping end-to-end product features. This hands-on role requires blending applied science rigor with cross-stack engineering to build the future of AI assistants.

• Own science and technical direction for Compass agentic products
• Ship retailer-assistant features end-to-end across AI, ML, and backend stacks
• Translate ambiguous product bets into de-risked tactical plans
• Set and raise the bar for eval- and experiment-driven development
• Make pragmatic engineering choices for evolving systems
• Partner with engineers on architecture and serving tradeoffs
