Applied AI Research Scientist

Join CIBC's Advanced Analytics and AI team as an Applied AI Research Scientist to drive the strategic direction of AI and Generative AI models. You will collaborate with leading academic institutions and internal product leaders to research, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI solutions, contributing to the bank's AI vision.

• Develop and explore capabilities of AI and Generative AI models
• Evaluate and apply advanced research in deep learning, NLP, and predictive modeling
• Integrate state-of-the-art tools and methods for large generative models
• Collaborate with AI Scientists, Engineers, and Product leaders
• Represent CIBC in the research community and partner with academia
• PhD in deep learning or related field with 3+ years of research experience
