Sr. Engineer, AI & ML

CarMax is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design and implement Generative AI solutions, focusing on large language models and semantic search to enhance customer experience. You will work within the GenAI team to build scalable, secure AI systems and mentor other engineers.

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI models including LLMs
• Leverage Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Search
• Build integrated monitoring systems for AI performance
• Mentor engineers on Generative AI best practices
• Collaborate on prompt engineering and testing
• Drive continuous improvement in AI architecture
