Data Scientist Intern - 2027

Hudson River Trading is seeking motivated students for its Data Science Summer Internship Program. As a Data Scientist Intern, you will extract valuable insights from vast datasets, normalize and validate data, and develop methodologies to enhance data quality for research and trading. This role offers a hands-on introduction to data science in algorithmic trading, with opportunities for independent project work and learning about our trading infrastructure.

• Extract useful information from large volumes of data
• Normalize and validate vendor data
• Develop methodologies for high-quality data
• Conduct independent data investigation projects in Python
• Gain exposure to algorithmic trading infrastructure
• Programming experience with Python at the level of "Python for Data Analysis"
