About this role
Centific is seeking an AI Research Engineer to advance state-of-the-art Vision AI, multimodal large models, and embodied/physical AI. You will translate cutting-edge research into production systems, owning experiments from paper to deployable modules. This role involves building and fine-tuning models for perception, training vision-language models, prototyping physical AI policies, and deploying research into reliable services.
What we are looking for 6
- Build and fine-tune models for detection, tracking, segmentation, and scene understanding
- Train and evaluate vision-language models (VLMs) for grounding and temporal QA
- Prototype perception-in-the-loop policies for robotics and manipulation
- Curate datasets and develop high-signal evaluation protocols
- Package research into reliable services using Kubernetes and Docker
- Orchestrate multi-agent pipelines for perception, reasoning, and code generation
