Senior Data Scientist - Optimization, Central Market Management & AI

Lyft is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Central Market Management & AI team. You will build scalable optimization and modeling systems that impact the company's bottom line by working at the intersection of Machine Learning, Data Science, and Economics. This role involves formulating optimization problems, building ML models, productionizing pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define the roadmap for foundational marketplace models.

• Design, formulate, and solve complex mathematical optimization problems
• Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade ML and optimization models
• Own the full model lifecycle from problem framing to production deployment
• Drive large-scale technical projects from concept to execution
• Contribute to and influence the technical roadmap for foundational models
• Partner with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, and Business Partners
