About this role

Chai Discovery is seeking a Research Engineer to build agent-powered systems that automate parts of the AI research loop. You will develop and optimize our auto-research framework, build tooling and datasets for agent-driven experiments, and automate real research workflows to accelerate drug discovery.

What we are looking for

Develop and optimize agent-powered auto-research framework
Build tooling, datasets, and workflows for agent-driven experiments
Automate real research workflows across the model lifecycle
4+ years of industry experience with AI/ML research teams
Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or JAX
Experience building agent-powered software systems
