Junior Software Engineer – AI/ML Applications

Leidos is seeking an entry-level software engineer to join their AI/ML applications team in Huntsville, AL. This role focuses on developing and maintaining software for modeling and simulation efforts, particularly for electro-optical infrared (EO/IR) systems. You will collaborate with a team to create innovative solutions for complex defense-related problems.

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications with AI/ML capabilities
• Build scalable data pipelines for large datasets
• Integrate machine learning models into EO/IR sensor simulations
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability for data-intensive workloads
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Linux
