Machine Learning & Data Operations Engineer

Lilly is seeking a Machine Learning & Data Operations Engineer to join their TuneLab team. This role involves building and deploying cutting-edge ML and AI tools to accelerate drug discovery. You will manage the full lifecycle of models and data, from research to production, ensuring reliable inference, trustworthy data pipelines, and robust validation and monitoring.

• Deploy trained ML models into production environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructure
• Build and operate scalable inference services and APIs for batch, real-time, and streaming data
• Design and maintain model-serving infrastructure using Kubernetes with autoscaling and versioned rollouts
• Develop and manage scalable, secure data pipelines for ML and LLM applications
• Implement automated data-readiness and quality-monitoring workflows
• Author, review, and validate model cards and run model validation and evaluation
