This role focuses on developing methods and systems to ensure advanced AI models align with intended goals, even in adversarial environments. You will research and implement monitoring techniques, control mechanisms, and red-team simulations to identify and mitigate AI risks, collaborating with policymakers and researchers.

- Develop monitoring and observability methods for AI behavior
- Research layered control mechanisms and intervention methods
- Design red-team simulations to probe AI system weaknesses
- Collaborate with policymakers and researchers on AI safety standards
- 3+ years of experience in ML research or product development
- Track record of published research in machine learning, especially generative AI
