Senior AI Engineer - Fury Team

Scout AI is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to develop and deploy multimodal foundation models for autonomous robotic systems in defense. You will contribute to reasoning, planning, and coordination across multiple robots for long-horizon missions, working in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership and influence.

• Design, train, and evaluate multimodal foundation models for multi-robot mission execution
• Curate and generate large-scale training datasets
• Develop memory, communication, planning, and tool-use capabilities for AI agents
• Build and improve simulation environments for synthetic data generation and RL
• Translate foundational research into deployable, real-time perception and decision-making systems
• 6+ years of hands-on AI model building and deployment experience
