AI Engineer

Cornell University seeks an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI solutions, primarily using Generative AI and LLMs. You will build and maintain scalable AI applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support administrative, academic, and research needs across the university. This role involves full lifecycle development, integration with enterprise systems, and ensuring robust security and performance.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions leveraging Generative AI and LLMs
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, high-performing AI applications
• Integrate AI services with enterprise systems and identity management
• Experience with cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or comparable languages
• 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience
