Senior Machine Learning Engineer (E3)

Ocado Group is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Smarties team, focusing on data science and intelligent personalization within the e-commerce stream. This role involves owning the full ML lifecycle, from experimentation to production deployment and monitoring, with a strong emphasis on building reliable, scalable, and maintainable ML systems. You will influence technical direction, coach team members, and collaborate across craft boundaries to enhance smart features that power the end-customer shopping experience.

• Own the full ML lifecycle from problem framing to production monitoring
• Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and testable ML systems
• Influence technical direction and raise the quality bar for ML problem-solving
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers in a cross-craft team
• Drive improvements in ML systems based on data analysis and experimentation
