2027 Summer Internship - Machine Learning Engineer

Q2 is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Austin, Texas. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of applied ML, from development to deployment and monitoring, on software that addresses real-world financial technology challenges. You will contribute to research, build and test ML features, and assist in maintaining ML pipelines.

• Support research into fraud and abuse patterns
• Build and test ML features for identity, behavior, and transaction fraud
• Assist in building and maintaining ML pipelines
• Write clean, well-tested code using AI-assisted development tools
• Monitor and troubleshoot production ML systems
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Machine Learning
