About this role

KLA is seeking an AI Infrastructure Engineer to research, evaluate, and develop next-generation hardware and software technologies for large-scale AI and machine learning workloads. You will design and build the infrastructure for model training, inference, networking, and storage, ensuring reliable and scalable AI solutions. This role involves systems engineering, AI platform development, MLOps, and DevOps, with a focus on performance, security, and collaboration.

Architect, deploy, and operate scalable AI platforms and distributed training environments
Evaluate emerging technologies in AI infrastructure, compute, storage, and networking
Integrate and manage AI compute infrastructure, diagnosing hardware and software issues
Design and maintain high-performance storage, networking, and data pipelines for AI workloads
Develop observability and monitoring solutions to optimize AI workload performance
Implement security-by-design principles for AI workloads and sensitive data
