Research Scientist II, Gene R&D

GenScript is seeking a Research Scientist II to join their Gene R&D team in Piscataway, NJ. This role involves developing and optimizing high-throughput sequencing library prep methods, managing project timelines, and analyzing/presenting data. The position requires a PhD in a relevant scientific field and at least two years of experience in NGS workflow development.

• Develop and optimize high-throughput sequencing library prep methods
• Manage project timelines and leverage internal resources
• Generate, analyze, interpret, and present data
• Communicate with other teams for smooth tech transfer
• PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in developing scalable NGS workflow
