Applied AI Engineer

Clera is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to build and maintain the production infrastructure for AI agents. You will focus on ensuring agents execute tasks reliably, manage context effectively, and integrate human oversight when necessary. This role involves working across agent systems, evaluation, and operational workflows, with a direct impact on real-world applications.

• Build production infrastructure for reliable AI agent task execution
• Design memory systems for long-term client context retention
• Develop evaluation harnesses for production deployment decisions
• Debug and improve agent systems based on real-world failures
• 3+ years of experience shipping LLM agents in production
• Strong Python and production systems development skills
