Founding ML Engineer, Computer Vision (Object Detection)

As the founding ML Engineer for Computer Vision, you will build and deploy the core item identification technology for an early-stage marketplace. You will own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from research and model design to production deployment and iteration, directly impacting user experience and product accuracy.

• Lead the design and production deployment of fine-grained item identification models
• Adapt foundation vision models to a specific product catalog
• Define accuracy standards and build calibrated confidence scoring
• Own the model serving path from research to production
• 5+ years of applied computer vision experience shipping production systems
• Experience with fine-grained recognition and production fine-tuning/deployment of vision transformers or CNNs
