Staff Machine Learning Engineer

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Wonder, you will lead the technical direction and architecture for our core recommendation and ranking systems. This hands-on role involves setting technical strategy, raising engineering standards, and mentoring other engineers. You will own the end-to-end model lifecycle, from research and development to production deployment and operation, driving innovation in areas like LLMs and personalized recommendations.

• Own end-to-end architecture for ranking and recommendation stack
• Lead evolution of optimization objectives towards long-term value
• Integrate state-of-the-art research into production systems
• Raise engineering and operational standards across multiple teams
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and participate in hiring
