Research Engineer, Forge

Mistral is seeking a Research Engineer to join their Forge team in Paris. This role focuses on transforming customer requirements into robust training and deployment workflows for AI models. You will work across the entire ML lifecycle, from model adaptation and evaluation to data and infrastructure, bridging the gap between research and production.

• Build and improve post-training and evaluation workflows
• Develop tools and pipelines for synthetic data generation, training, and deployment
• Debug and harden large-scale ML systems
• Improve the Forge codebase with clear APIs, tests, and documentation
• Push the frontier of RL training stack
• Ensure seamless and adaptable Forge deployment for diverse clients
