Data Scientist, Baseball Analytics

The New York Mets are looking for a Data Scientist to join our Baseball Analytics team. You will develop and present statistical models to drive decision-making across Baseball Operations. This role requires strong statistical and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences.

• Build statistical models for baseball operations
• Interpret data and report conclusions
• Present model outputs to technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with Baseball Analytics and Baseball Operations
• Evaluate new data sources and technologies
• Strong proficiency in R, Python, or similar, and SQL
