Data Scientist (Mid-Level)

USAA is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems and drive actionable insights. You will collaborate with engineering partners to deliver scalable solutions and work with Model Risk Management to ensure model stability. This hybrid role requires 4 days in the office and offers flexibility for military spouses.

• Translate business problems into statistical, machine learning, simulation, and optimization solutions
• Develop scalable, automated solutions using machine learning techniques
• Collaborate with engineering partners to deliver scalable solutions
• Partner with Model Risk Management to validate model results
• Gather, interpret, and manipulate structured and unstructured data
• Communicate outcomes to non-technical business colleagues
