Junior AI Engineer- Applied AI

Join Guidewire as a Junior AI Engineer to build and refine Concierge, our advanced AI agent for P&C insurance carriers. You will own end-to-end development of AI features, focusing on prompt engineering, retrieval, tool integration, and robust evaluation loops. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on real-time voice interactions and ensure the accuracy and reliability of an AI system in a regulated environment.

• Build and deploy LLM applications with a focus on predictable behavior
• Develop and run AI evaluation loops, including error analysis and release gating
• Own AI agent components like prompt architecture and retrieval systems
• Work with real-time voice path, including latency and turn-taking
• Apply software engineering fundamentals to AI systems, considering cost, latency, and reliability
• Collaborate on product direction and shape the AI agent's capabilities
