AI Engineer (US-Based / Part-Time)

Implicit is seeking a part-time Applied AI Engineer to help build the next generation of enterprise AI for their AI Knowledge Engine. You will design and build AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and semantic search, develop intelligent pipelines, and optimize production AI services. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies and solve real-world problems in a remote, US-based environment.

• Design and build AI applications powered by LLMs, RAG, semantic search, and AI agents
• Develop intelligent pipelines for document ingestion, knowledge extraction, and retrieval
• Improve answer quality through prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks
• Build and optimize production AI services using Python and modern AI frameworks
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to prototype and ship new capabilities
• 3+ years of experience building AI, ML, or NLP applications
