Senior Engineer, Machine Learning, Vision

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to implement and ship vision capabilities within our Automation Control Software portfolio. You will own the end-to-end development of self-learning inspection tools, from prototyping to production deployment and monitoring, ensuring accuracy and low latency on edge hardware. This role offers significant ownership in an AI-first engineering environment, utilizing cutting-edge tools and processes to drive innovation in industrial automation.

• Implement and ship machine learning vision capabilities from training to user workflow
• Build and maintain training, labeling, and dataset management pipelines
• Develop evaluation suites and accuracy regression tests for model gating
• Tune models and inference pipelines for edge hardware performance
• Debug model behavior with real customer data and improve datasets
• Experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow and modern computer vision architectures
