Research Scientist I

Leidos is seeking a Research Scientist I to support military medicine research at the Naval Medical Research Unit San Antonio. This role involves developing and conducting scientific research, writing proposals and reports, presenting findings, and managing experimental procedures. The position requires a PhD with research experience and a strong background in experimental design and data analysis.

• Develop and conduct protocol-driven scientific research
• Write research proposals, technical reports, and manuscripts
• Present findings at technical and professional meetings
• Prepare experimental subjects and set up equipment
• Support in vivo and in vitro model systems, data acquisition, and analysis
• PhD with one year of research experience required

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
