AI Engineer

Genius Sports is seeking an AI Engineer to join their Sports AI team in Los Angeles. You will build and own applied AI systems that analyze sports data for insights, automation, and predictions. This role involves end-to-end ownership from data exploration and model development to production deployment and iteration, working with diverse sports data and leveraging machine learning, AI, and LLMs.

• Own applied AI work end-to-end, from data exploration to production integration
• Develop and compose models, algorithms, and inference pipelines for sports data analysis
• Build models for event detection, likelihood estimation, and automation
• Work with multimodal sports data including tracking, video, audio, and text
• Define and use metrics to measure AI system quality
• Integrate ML models and AI components into real-time sports products
