Staff Applied Scientist

Braze is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join their Predictive and Generative AI team. This role focuses on creating ML and AI-powered marketing solutions for personalized customer experiences, owning solutions end-to-end from model development to serving predictions. You will lead initiatives, build ML platforms, and drive technical vision and quality.

• Identify and drive transformative initiatives in ML model training and serving
• Build and ship complex ML initiatives from design through production
• Own the team's technical vision, best practices, and ML platform
• Drive cross-team initiatives for solutions shipping into messaging and data platforms
• Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, ensuring production readiness
• Connect technical decisions to customer and business outcomes
