Machine Learning Engineer, Search, Ads & Recommendations

Join Etsy's Search and Discovery teams as a Machine Learning Engineer to build and deploy user-centric ML systems that power our global marketplace. You will tackle large-scale problems in areas like search ads, recommendations, and retrieval, directly impacting the experience for millions of buyers and sellers.

• Build and productionize ML models for search, ads, and recommendations at scale
• Own end-to-end ML pipelines from data to serving and A/B experimentation
• Apply cutting-edge ML techniques including deep learning, LLMs, and information retrieval
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and data science teams
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and production ML systems
• M.S. or Ph.D. in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience
