Machine Learning Engineer, Data Mining

Motional is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to enhance their autonomous driving stack by developing and training ML pipelines for multimodal sensor data. This role involves building the core of a data mining framework, focusing on large-scale representation learning and data retrieval to accelerate model improvement and identify critical driving scenarios.

• Develop and train ML pipelines for multimodal sensor data
• Implement supervised and self-supervised learning approaches
• Support model deployment with scalable data preprocessing
• Develop embedding-based search tools and active learning workflows
• Monitor production performance and build dashboards
• Apply software engineering standards to ML code
