Fall 2026, Intern/Coop: Machine Learning Researcher

RTX is seeking a Fall 2026 intern to support research in machine learning, focusing on large language models, agentic AI, and evaluation frameworks. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on complex problems in aerospace and defense, collaborating with leading experts.

• Support research on large language models and agentic AI
• Develop methods to evaluate and improve LLM reasoning and decision-making
• Design and run experiments on GPU clusters
• Mitigate LLM vulnerabilities like hallucinations and jailbreaks
• Collaborate with a focused team on cutting-edge Generative AI applications
• Currently pursuing MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
