Machine Learning Systems Engineer

Join Motional's ML Acceleration team as a Machine Learning Systems Engineer to build and optimize core systems for training frontier models at scale. You will focus on enhancing speed, cost, reliability, and throughput, working at the intersection of ML research and high-performance systems engineering to accelerate the development of next-generation models.

• Optimize performance profiling and identify bottlenecks in ML training
• Implement optimizations for speed, cost, reliability, and throughput
• Optimize distributed training pipelines using PyTorch Distributed
• Develop high-performance GPU kernels in Triton or CUDA
• Engineer robust data loading pipelines for maximum training throughput
• Requires strong Python and PyTorch experience
