Research Scientist Junior/Junior+

Plata Card is seeking a Junior Research Scientist intern to develop foundation models for financial data, focusing on areas like credit risk and anti-fraud. This role involves working with large datasets and applying the latest machine learning techniques to drive business impact.

• Train self-supervised models for credit risk, anti-fraud, acquisition, and LTV forecasting
• Apply latest NLP and DL techniques to fintech models
• Work with large multimodal datasets including tabular, transactional, and graph data
• Optimize compute resource utilization for training and inference
• Develop solutions end-to-end from idea to impact evaluation
• Stay on top of SOTA research and publish findings
