About this role

AVEVA is seeking a Data/AI Engineer to join their new AI & Digital Delivery hub in Kuala Lumpur. This role focuses on designing and implementing AI-first customer and partner experiences using Azure OpenAI, RAG pipelines, and agent workflows to enhance global and regional platforms. You will build AI-powered features for assisted onboarding, intelligent data intake, and SaaS augmentation.

What we are looking for

Design and implement AI-powered features for Unified Partner Experience
Build integrations with Azure OpenAI and Alibaba Tongyi Qianwen / PAI
Develop MCP agents, tool integrations, and RAG pipelines
Build data pipelines for extraction, transformation, embedding generation, and vector storage
Implement prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and safety guardrails
5-8 years of software or data engineering experience, with 2+ years in production AI/ML
