Data Scientist

Unilever is seeking a Data Scientist to join their Home Care Research & Development team in Bangalore. This role involves using Python, data science, and machine learning to analyze scientific data, accelerate product innovation, and help teams make evidence-led decisions. You will partner with scientists to translate challenges into analytical solutions, build predictive models, and create visualizations to support innovation and sustainability.

• Develop Python code for data collection, cleaning, transformation, and modeling workflows
• Analyze structured and unstructured data using statistical and machine learning techniques
• Build and validate predictive and prescriptive models
• Create visualizations and dashboards for informed decision-making
• Collaborate with global science, data, digital technology, and business teams
• Apply software development practices including version control and testing
