About this role

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Research Scientist to join our Space Sector in Promontory, UT. You will provide technical expertise in chemistry and materials science, focusing on chromatography and spectrometry, to support R&D and production programs. This role involves developing and optimizing analytical methods, interpreting complex data, and communicating findings to diverse stakeholders.

What we are looking for

Subject-matter expert in chromatography and spectrometry for R&D analytical laboratory
Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods including ICP spectrometry
Troubleshoot analytical instruments and methods
Interpret chemical data to solve complex materials and process problems
Communicate complex chemistry and analytical results to technical and non-technical customers
Experience with ICP spectrometry strongly preferred
