About this role
WRI seeks a Research Analyst to support the U.S. Polsky Energy Center in accelerating the transition to a low-carbon energy future. This hybrid role involves conducting research, analyzing data, and supporting stakeholder engagement to address challenges in the power sector, such as rising electricity demand and decarbonization efforts. The position offers an opportunity to build expertise at the intersection of energy policy, electricity markets, and grid planning.
What we are looking for
6- Support research and analysis on power sector decarbonization and load growth
- Conduct literature reviews and data analysis using Python
- Draft sections for reports, issue briefs, and fact sheets
- Assist in coordinating stakeholder convenings and technical assistance
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on clean energy initiatives
- Requires existing work authorization; no visa sponsorship available
