Applied Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer

Wayve is seeking an Applied Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer to join their AI Platform team. You will focus on improving the data engine that powers their foundation models for autonomous driving. This role involves curating, enriching, and evaluating real-world driving data to enhance model performance and generalization.

• Mine world-scale fleet data for rare and safety-critical events
• Develop high-signal training data through automated enrichment and labeling
• Design rigorous evaluation metrics for foundation models
• Build and fine-tune large-scale pretrained models
• Contribute to multimodal perception, reasoning, language, and action models
• Work with foundation models for embodied AI and autonomous driving
