AI Engineer III

Expedia Group is seeking an AI Engineer III to join their Customer Data Platform team in Austin. You will lead projects, design, and build scalable data services and pipelines using AI tools and machine learning to deliver personalized travel experiences. This role involves end-to-end ownership of data products, collaboration across teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

• Own and evolve complex, business-critical data products end to end
• Apply modern engineering practices and use AI as a co-pilot
• Collaborate with partners across engineering, product, data, and business functions
• Design and integrate services, APIs, and data models for AI systems
• Share knowledge and mentor others, especially earlier-career engineers
