AI Engineer

Guidewire is looking for an AI Engineer to join our Professional Services AI Engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be a dedicated AI specialist within a Strike Team, working closely with a Product Engineer to deliver AI productization projects from start to finish. Your core responsibilities will involve harness and prompt engineering, building agent harnesses, tool integrations, prompts, and evaluation loops to transform LLMs into production-ready features, alongside supporting AI tasks like data parsing, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.

• Build and maintain LLM harnesses (agent loops, tool/function calling, context construction)
• Design, iterate, and version prompts with structured experiments and evaluation
• Develop and operate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Generate embeddings and manage vector databases
• Perform data parsing, curation, and accuracy validation
• Apply traditional ML for analysis and lightweight modeling tasks
