Entry-Level – AI and Machine Learning for Automation Researcher

General Motors is seeking a Summer Intern Researcher to advance AI and machine learning for robotic automation in manufacturing. You will contribute to developing and applying cutting-edge learning methods for intelligent robotic systems, tackling complex real-world challenges in areas like manipulation and assembly.

• Develop and apply advanced machine learning techniques for robotic systems
• Focus on reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and deep learning
• Contribute to challenging robotic domains like grasping and manipulation
• Pursuing Masters or PhD in ML, Robotics, or Computer Science
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, PyTorch/TensorFlow
• Graduating between August 2026 - June 2027
