Principal Engineer, AI/ML

Lead strategic AI and Generative AI initiatives as a Principal Engineer at Edwards Lifesciences in Prague. You will be the regional technical expert, driving solution design and development in partnership with business stakeholders and external vendors. This role focuses on developing and enhancing technological solutions to support patient-focused medical innovations.

• Lead design, development, and deployment of AI solutions at scale
• Determine operational feasibility of proposed solutions
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines for LLMs and ML models
• Stay current with AI/ML research and industry trends
• Improve and optimize model performance for robustness and scalability
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
